In Alcantarilha, we delivered a carport system with high-performance bifacial modules for a retail site – Centroplan's first carport project in Portugal. 203 modules across 600 m² generate a capacity of 119.77 kWp.

Challenge
A photovoltaic system cannot always be installed on the roof. At this site, the task was therefore to find a suitable alternative for the desired investment in renewable energy.
Solution
Together with our partners, we realised generation via solar carports. They not only provide shade and protection but also deliver green electricity directly on site – even where roof mounting is not possible.
