Rooftop PV system with low-voltage main distribution in Berlin
In Berlin, we commissioned a rooftop PV system with a capacity of 730.80 kWp. On a roof area of 3,480 m², 1,740 modules generate clean electricity directly on site.
Challenge
A central component of every commercial solar system is the low-voltage main distribution board (LVMD): it safely controls the energy generated and distributes it reliably within the building. The particular challenge in Berlin was finding a suitable installation space for the LVMD – all the technical rooms were already occupied.
Solution
Together with the customer, we developed a suitable installation solution for the low-voltage main distribution board and connected the system to the grid on schedule. This means the solar power generated can be safely controlled and used directly on site.
