Large rooftop systems are one of our specialities. Together with Sunrock, we deliver photovoltaic systems on the roofs of large logistics and distribution centres in Germany. In Polch, a system is being built across more than 58,000 m² of roof area for the sustainable MultiBusinessHub of Lang & Cie. Industrials AG.
Challenge
The system reaches a capacity of just over 5 MWp – spread across almost 12,000 modules and 30 inverters. Part of the roof is designed as a membrane roof, another part as a green roof.
Solution
We implemented the membrane roof together with van der Valk Solar Systems and the green roof with Soltop. The combination of photovoltaics and greenery has a positive effect on the climate in and around the building and makes the MultiBusinessHub a sustainable location.
