Sika – Centroplan partnership
Together with Sika Services AG, Centroplan has developed a flat-roof mounting system which is distributed exclusively by Centroplan – the SIKA® SOLARMOUNT-1 (SSM1).
The system is an essential component of a solar-panelled roof concept where all roof and PV components are compatible and coordinated.
This light and aerodynamic system is specially designed for the installation of PV systems on flat roofs which are covered in Sika Sarnafil roof sheeting and allows Sika customers to install the system on Sika roof sheeting and to keep the Sika material guarantee with both renovations and new-builds.
The system stands out thanks to its easy installation and low roof load. The system is configured by Centroplan according to Silka installation guidelines.
4th German photovoltaic operation and safety conference
Operating, safety and protection schemes for solar systems and battery-saving systems, 19th – 20th October 2017 in Berlin
The DGS Academy Berlin [German section of the International Solar Energy Society] and the Haus der Technik are thrilled to present the 4th German photovoltaic operation and safety conference in Berlin with a comprehensive programme featuring top-ranking experts from the community. The conference will provide detailed information about the current state of the art, standards and guidelines concerning the planning, construction, mounting, installation and operation of PV systems, also in combination with battery-saving systems.
In addition, there will be a detailed discussion on quality criteria and aspects of safety, in particular relating to planning and construction and operational experience (system yields and performance). Typical errors with system construction and gaps in quality and safety will be shown and discussed. Current and future requirements regarding quality and optimised operation and operation modes will be discussed to ensure the continued advancement of photovoltaics and solar energy savers in all areas of application.
